Sheldon and Kaylin’s wedding took place at one of my all time favourite wedding venues in KwaZulu-Natal, Thorner Country Estate.
It was the perfect setting to this wedding – filled with lots of love and friends and family. The minute I met Sheldon and Kaylin, I knew I was in for a great day!
Here’s a peek into their day…
It has been an awesome journey photographing Bruce and Mags, right from the very start with their Durban Rooftop Engagement Session through to their wedding day at Thorner Country Estate. I couldn’t help but smile while editing their photos, remembering all the amazing moments on their day. It felt like I was part of the family.
Three things have stuck with me from their wedding day; Best man, Dean’s loyalty and dedication to his best friend’s wedding that he left his wife and newborn baby (just a day old) to be by Bruce’s side; Bruce promising to be by Mags’ side because her father can’t be, and the love for this couple from all their friends and family.
Thank you Bruce and Mags, for trusting me to photograph your beautiful day and for sharing all those happy memories with me.
Wishing you an amazing journey, filled with warmness, love and laughter. x

The face of a new dad!
Anton and Juanita’s wedding day was such a special celebration.
They had gotten married earlier in the year and decided to have their wedding day later when all their friends and family could be with them.
And it was only fitting that on this day, they shared not only their vows with their guests, but the news that they’re expecting a little bundle too!
Congratulations Anton and Juanita, she’s going to be a blessed little girl.
Anton and Juanita got married in the old barn chapel at Thorner Country Estate on cold Winter’s day in Camperdown. But despite the chill, their day was beautiful.
Wishing you both an amazing journey, as husband and wife, and as mom and dad!

This wedding goes down as one of my absolute favourites! Wesley and Kirsty held their wedding at what I believe is one of the best wedding venues near Durban, Thorner Country Estate in the Camperdown area.
I’ve been looking forward to Wes and Kirst’s wedding for months now, and after their engagement shoot, I just knew we were going to be in for a treat!
From the elegant decor to Kirsty’s incredible wedding dress made by her mom on a sewing machine she got when she turned 21; to the bridal party and the guests, everything about this wedding was magic! There were so many personal touches, most of it lovingly handcrafted by the bride herself or by her family and so much love and joy in the air!
I hope these photos share just how much love there was on this day. x
Love for the team:
