Daniel and Megan’s wedding had everything that I love about weddings in the winter in the Midlands.
Warm winter light? ✓
Love and happiness all around? ✓
A beautiful bride, both inside and out? ✓
A couple who write their own heartfelt vows? ✓
A bride who walks into the chapel, on her father’s arm, to a song that reduces everyone to tears? ✓
A choreographed first dance that breaks out into a flash mob! ✓
I arrived at Providence, Midlands Meander (where I also got married in 2012!) excited to photograph Dan and Meg’s beautiful day and left feeling so full of love and gratitude. What an amazing day!
From Megan’s incredibly moving entrance into the chapel, to the way Dan looked at Megan, to the way the guests filled the small chapel with the most AMAZING hymn, to the way everyone just beamed with love and warmth for this couple… Everything was just perfect!
Thank you Daniel and Megan for letting me photograph your wedding day, and making me feel so welcome. I hope you enjoy this sneak peek and reliving the happiest day of your lives.
Being a photographer means I get to see quite a bit at weddings. I get to meet people from all walks of life. Sit and eat a meal with people who have stories to share. And I get to truly see the heart and soul of what goes on on a wedding day.
So when I arrived at Bellwood Stud in the Midlands for Darren and Louise’s wedding, I already knew what I was in for. I had met them before and loved them instantly.
But on their wedding day, the kindness and love that they showed me previously, was magnified and shared with and by all their closest friends and family.
This wedding was full of heart, soul and love.
The warmest kind of people. The most down-to-earth couple. A genuine kind of love.
Thank you Darren and Louise, and thank you to your parents too, for being so utterly amazing to photograph, and for sharing your special day with me.
I hope you enjoy this sneak peek!

It was a gorgeous, sunny day in the Midlands. As the sun’s rays beat down on the rolling hills of Brahman Hills and a slight breeze danced through the lavender garden outside the spa, Neché dressed herself in her wedding gown.
Her excitement revealed itself in nervous bursts of joy.
Today, Neché married Matthew.
In the glass chapel overlooking the dam, Neché’s glowing smile matched Matthew’s as he watched his bride make her way down the aisle to him.
Their wedding day was absolutely lovely and the perfect way to kick off the 2017 wedding season for me!
Thank you Matthew and Neché, your day was everything a wedding day should be! xx
