You’ll often hear a photographer say they shot such an amazing wedding, that it’s definitely going down in their top 10.
This year, I’ve been so fortunate to have worked with the most beautiful of people and share in their days with my photography. It’s such an honour each and every time and I always go into a wedding day with all my heart.
And then came the Vermolen sisters. I first photographed Kirsty’s wedding in Umdloti in January this year, and in May, I photographed Kim’s wedding at Cranford Country Lodge. These two are so kind, so selfless and so warm, that you can’t help but call them friends and want to surround yourself in their warmth. Yes, their two weddings were huge highlights for me this year.
Charl and Kim got married at the picturesque Cranford Country Lodge in the Midlands and could not have asked for a more beautiful day. What makes a wedding so special? The love, the laughter and definitely, families and friends.
What made Charl and Kim’s wedding so special for me to photograph? That these two wear their hearts on their sleeves and aren’t afraid to share their kindness, love and warmth with everyone. That every detail was thought of, and every person, including me, the photographer, was made to feel special.
Thank you Charl and Kim, from the bottom of my heart.
